PRESSED my buttons.

PRESSED First Year Fine Art Printmaking Exhibition!

This my first exhibition, fully organized by fellow printing students, above a little cafe tucked away in The Lanes, Brighton, called Marwood Studios.
I have been responsible for publicity along with Jake White and Lucy Mazhari.

Most stressful time EVER.
But it is my baby and it will be worth it so come and check it out!

APRIL 23rd - 30th.

Prints

Latest screenprints.

Woodcuts.

Pulling shapes.

These two pieces above were really successful when turned into silkscreens.
I'm really loving playing with ambiguous shapes over these lonely black and white images.

I'm really enjoying this work at the moment. The prints from some of these pages have been very successful.

Thinking of exhibiting a few in the first year exhibition, PRESSED.

Pages of my sketchbook...

Seem to work quite monotone in my sketchbook and then add the colour once I start printing.
Really love some of these small quick collages.

This is a photocopy on top of a photocopy of my etching.
I wanted to sample out the plans over the print before I commited to it. Scanning and photocopying layers is a great way to try out quick ideas and experiments.

I really miss drawing.

Old old old.

Two collages from a series of black and white motor racing collage series done last summer.

Watch this space...

I haven't uploaded anything on here for a while now due to my appauling internet connection.
However this is all about to change in the next coming days.
Keep your eyes peeled for bundles of brand new work!
